Pain Management
Pain management involves helping people to live with and manage chronic (long standing) pain by helping them to learn ways of dealing with the disabling effects and distress that are associated with such pain.
We will work alongside you, talking through your problems and goals, in order to deliver effective and appropriate lifestyle advice, management strategies and functional adaptations.
These sessions aim to help individuals to become more independent towards managing pain and understanding the mechanisms of pain, what they think about it, how they deal with it emotionally and establishing positive ways to move forward in order to improve function, confidence and quality of life.
Some of the most common injuries we treat are:
- Top of the range equipment
